A couple weeks ago I saw this antique enamel tub at my mother in law’s house and thought it would be so cute for milk bath photos. Timothy fit in it perfectly! Unfortunately the sunlight was harsh, casting shadows so the pictures didn’t turn out so great. Also my water baby enjoyed it so much that he splashed most of the liquid out immediately. Oh well, I tried!
Despite the shadows and lack of milk, the pictures still turned out pretty cute. If you want to try milk bath photography yourself it’s really easy! I used about a gallon of warm water and half gallon of milk. I just added milk until it was the right opacity to hide certain parts. Next add baby and snap away! Vintage enamel or galvanized tubs work great for babies.
My photography skills are still a work in progress but I have a couple of the cutest models. I’m going to keep at it. Next I want to try an outdoor bubble bath in a galvanized tub!
