A few weeks ago we received our first KIDBOXES. Timothy got a BabyBox filled with 4 complete outfits, 6 pairs of socks and a set of Nuby Stroller Hooks. He had such a blast opening it! Parker’s box was full of cute summertime outfits and a tote bag. Now that Timothy is crawling, she is easier to photograph so this post is all about what she received.
If you’re not familiar with KIDBOX, it’s a children’s subscription box service. They are seasonal boxes, shipping 5 times a year. KIDBOXES contain 6-7 styles, while Baby boxes contain 3-4 styles & 1-2 non-apparel items. You have 7 days to try on the items, choose your favs, and send the rest back in the postage paid envelope. They even offer size exchanges! You’re only charged for what you keep. If you keep the entire box KIDBOX donates an item of clothing to a child in need.
Each box is so cutely packaged. The kids had a blast opening them. Each box came with The Scribble, KIDBOX’S newsletter. It’s filled with articles, styling advice and coloring pages. They also came with a reusable pouch filled with stickers, crayons, the invoice and the return envelope. Honestly I think my kid’s enjoyed the opening more than the actual clothes. The cute clothes are just a bonus.
Urban Smalls “Mermaid at Heart” Tank Top (retail $24/$18 KIDBOX) & DKNY Hipster Short with Sequin Star Patches (retail $32/$24 KIDBOX)
This is Parker’s favorite outfit from the box. The top is a little big but it’ll be perfect for a swimsuit coverup or to wear underneath a light cardigan. The shorts came with that braided thing on the belt loop. Is it for looks or is she supposed to wear it as a bracelet? Help me! I have no idea.
Appaman Parrot Front Tie Tee (retail $36/$27 KIDBOX) & Splendid Frayed Twill Shorts (retail $40/$30 KIDBOX)
How fun is this? Parker’s first crop top! I love KIDBOX because it introduces us to new brands like Appaman. This outfit is perfect for everyday wear or park dates. I want a pair of these shorts in my size. So comfy!
LEE Overall 2 Piece Set (retail $46.50/$35 KIDBOX)
This outfit is too cute! The overalls are super soft and the matching tee is covered in an ice cream print. Parker’s favorite summer treat.
Design History Print Maxi Dress (retail $38/$31 KIDBOX)
This is another new to us brand that we are loving! Parker calls this her Grandma dress (I think my MIL has a similar dress LOL). She loves twirling around in it. It makes her look so grown up!
Retail price on all 6 pieces is $216.50. Each piece has a special KIDBOX price BUT you get an even bigger discount for keeping the entire box. The full box price is only $98! That’s only $16.33 per piece!
I love that we can mix and match all the shorts and tops to make several outfits. KIDBOX really nailed Parker’s modern casual look!
Have you heard of or tried KIDBOX? I can’t wait for our next box! I bet the fall boxes are amazing!
