This might not be exciting news to many but Stitch Fix now offers maternity clothes! I received an email last week from Stitch Fix customer service congratulating me on my pregnancy and asking me to please update my profile because they had added a few new questions regarding pregnancy (due date, etc). A week later a new Fix arrived on my doorstep!
In this Fix (#14!) I received two maternity pieces, 2 non-maternity pieces and a bracelet. Please excuse my hair. It felt about 90 degrees in the house when I was trying these on!
Item 1 – LAMade Maternity Trystan Maternity Ruched Front Dress $108.00
As you can see from the picture in the middle this dress doubles as a nursing dress. It’s a nice color and thick enough to wear all winter but I’m not 100% sold on it yet. I haven’t worn dresses much lately. I find it easier to hide the extra weight in jeans and over-sized shirts!
Item 2 – Pixley Lyra 3/4 Sleeve Abstract Chevron Dress $58.00
This dress is a much better price point than the LAMade Maternity dress but it really does nothing for my figure. It is a nice soft fabric and would stretch for a few months but this is not a keeper. Off topic but my butt and boobs are getting huge! Moving on….
Item 3 & 4 – Pixley Ishani Moto Vest $74.00 and LAMade Maternity Mavin Hooded Henley Maternity Themal $84.00
My stylist recommended I wear these items together and pair it with an infinity scarf. See top photos. The vest is non-maternity and a little snug when I zip it up. I don’t think it looks right unzipped. The thermal is cute but $84.00 cute? I don’t know! I’m torn on this whole Fix. Everything is cute but is it me?? And the prices are pretty steep.
Item 5 – Zad Aiken Metal Chevron Stretch Bangle $28.00
I really like this bracelet! It’s a nice vintage gold color and it looks great with my watch! This might be the only keeper. What do you guys think? I have one more day to decide!
