Ahhh teething. A mom’s worst enemy! And it seems to last forever. My second child started teething really early. He started showing signs around 3 months and had his first two bottom teeth around 4 months. My daughter was right on track with the average though. She got her first tooth the week she turned 6 months. Isn’t it crazy how every kid is different?
I’ve tried a lot of teethers between my two kids! Some better than others. Today I’m going to share the 5 products that work for us and that we love. Not every kid is the same but if you’re looking for a new teething product to try check these out!
1. ChewBuddy Silicone Bee Teether – This is Timothy’s absolute favorite Teether. It’s easy for him to hold on to, has lots of textured surfaces and is a fun bright color. I love it because it folds up small and fits into a pacifier case, is dishwasher safe and is non-toxic, BPA, PVC and Phthalate free. This teether is a great deal on Amazon!
3. Munch Mitt – When we first got the Munch Mitt I was skeptical. Why would any baby want to keep this on their hand!? But I was wrong. It’s pretty much the best thing ever. It’s exactly like the name describes, a baby teething mitten. It’s made from food grade silicone, BPA and Phthalate free. The textures provide relief from teething and the mitt protects baby’s hand from excess saliva and chewing. Right now you can save 20% on your own Munch Mitt by using code EASTER18!
4. Lil Messy Faces Bibs – It’s a given that teething babies are going to drool. Why not have cute bibs!? These 100% cotton bibs from Lil Messy Faces are stylish and practical. I carry one with us all the time.
5. Little Teether Silicone Necklace – I have several necklaces from Little Teether that I rotate. I wear them when I’m babywearing to keep him busy. The are food-grade, BPA-free and free of phthalates, lead, cadmium, and heavy metals. Plus they can be tossed in the dishwasher (top rack) with our other teethers!
I’m not going to give this one it’s own number because I’m not really sure that it works, but both of my kids wear Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces. Amber is said to be an anti-inflammatory and reduce teething pain and drooling. If you want to check it out THIS is the necklace that Timothy wears. It’s an Amazon Prime item mamas! I’m of the thought that if it helps good, if not oh well! It looks cute!
What are your teething essentials? I’m always looking for new products to ease the suffering!
